The International Conference on Teacher Education (INCTE) is proving to be a reference scientific event at both national and international levels. INCTE has been able to uphold the value of critical rationality and the main concerns related to Education (e.g. Teaching, Pedagogy; Learning, Development). The 3rd INCTE maintains the previous thematic guidelines and introduces a new one where pedagogical reflection and human development are paramount: “debating teaching practices in Higher Education”.

By announcing the 3rd INCTE as a space for critical reflection, for debating current themes and for innovation, the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança is pleased and highly confident in bringing together students, teachers, researchers and institutional leaders.
