Submit for the 11th World Environmental Education Conference. 

Members are encouraged to consider submitting an abstract for the next event in this important series of congresses run by the World Environmental Education Conference network, and which represent a key gathering point for educational professionals interested in environmental education and education for sustainable development.

The event will be held on 14-18 March 2022 in Prague, but it is a 'blended' event so online participation is possible.

Event theme: BUILDING BRIDGES IN TIMES OF CLIMATE URGENCY

  • How can environmental and sustainability education contribute to overcoming the disjunction that is separating people from nature?
  • How can we support a more sustainable, equitable, and relational way of being in the world?

The Congress aims to building bridges between:

  • different approaches to environmental education and education for sustainable development
  • researchers and practitioners around the world
  • formal, non-formal, informal, and community education
  • national strategies in environmental education
