A full time post for a lecturer in Educational Sciences, specifically Global Education, has become available within the Values, ideologies and social contexts of education research unit at the University of Oulu, Finland. 

Summary of job responsibilities:

• To develop research based education and teach in the international master’s programme Education and Globalisation (EDGLO), and contribute to teaching and development of the Intercultural teacher education (ITE) programme.
• To guide and supervise master’s and doctoral theses, and participate in the regular administration tasks related to the post.
• The research carried out by the lecturer is expected to focus on of Global Education. Preferably, the lecturer’s own research should follow the line of the research unit VISE (Values, ideologies and social contexts of education).
