"Freedom in a fractured world: Sustaining the legacy of Nelson Mandela".

Winchester University, in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela Museum in South Africa, are hosting a UK conference celebrating the centenary of his birth.

It is one of a quartet of events taking place worldwide: University of Winchester, Michigan State University, Walter Sisulu University (SA), and Nairobi University (Kenya).

The programme is varied, from those related to him, those who knew him and schools and students trying to promote his legacy.

The event is free but booking is necessary. There will be lunch, a South African band (Mankala) afterwards and refreshments.

This invite was circulated at the request of ANGEL member Matthew Lowden.
