Member Invitation

Callout for member blogs on hot topics in global education.

Now that ANGEL has succeeded in building a large and very international membership, we are keen to offer our members a voice - to enrich the member community and to help explore key topics and open up dialogues. With this in mind we are calling for members to write short blogs on hot topics in global education that were identified at the conference, as well as topics that may become the focus of organised 'Special Interest Groups' during the latter half of 2019.

All written pieces relevant to the below topics would be considered, with a strong preference for exploring research or issues that will be relevant to an international audience.

  • International exchanges and study abroad and volunteering - the international experience
  • Migration
  • Southern perspectives/ alternative approaches to GE
  • Climate Change
  • Global Competencies
  • Differing perspectives including faith based ones
  • Formal education
  • Teacher education

A word limit of 2000 words is suggested. Please include in this a brief biography of yourself and, if necessary, the organisation you represent.

You are welcome to write a blog in any language.

You can submit your writing, and any related queries, to info@angel-network.net on a rolling basis and we will try to publish at regular intervals.
