Could your university host the next ANGEL Early Career Researcher Conference?

Every 2 years the ANGEL network aims to organise a conference for early career researchers who are engaged in research on global education - deemed to be people who are currently undertaking research for their doctorate or have completed their doctorate within the past 2 years.

It is planned that the next event will be held between early April and end of June 2020, and involve 50-60 participants.

The last such event was held in London, the location of the ANGEL project office. However, to reflect the international nature of the project, for the 2020 event we are inviting all our members to consider whether they could host the conference within their institution.

The host institution would be expected to be responsible for:

  • Chairing the conference with support from ANGEL members
  • Responsible for the day to day administration and organising of the event
  • Providing some financial resources for hosting the event

Some limited funding, and administrative / communication support will be made available to the host institution by ANGEL.
